NETIO.sys is a microsoft provided driver, and it cannot be the real cause of the crash. But it indicates some network blockage. Some unsuitability .... but what may cause it?

A deeper look at the latest crash dump reveals it:

McAfee is the most well known network blocker, it is to provide network safety, so :)
I would suggest to uninstall this program.
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\McAfee Family Protection
Uninstall McAfee Using McAfee Removal Tool. Also uninstall these programs, too.
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\avast! Free Antivirus
Start Menu\Programs\AVG PC TuneUp
Start Menu\Programs\AVG PC TuneUp\All functions
More than one AV programs are never good for the system. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner, and nothing more.

Download and install those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Let us know the results.

Thanks for the reply its funny you say that about the network, iv been giving it a service while I waited and after a HDD scan, it started to lock up and only way to get it working again was to turn off via the power button, when I turned it back on I notice laptop would work fine untill the wireless started to try and connect then laptop freezes up, hard drive light still flickers away as normal but laptop is not responsive.

Also I prefer to use avast would it be ok, I like there boot scan feature would it be ok to use that instead of MS security essentials?

I will do as you say and report back thanks ever so much :)

Micky, if you plan to use Avast, I can say you that I have nothing to say against avast, as far as it is the free home version, and does not come with any added "feature". An AV is to give you the real time protection, free Avast is enough for it. For any scanning, Free MBAM is there.

If more in depth scan is needed, you may use these tools too ..

And these are free, too.

Whenever the AV is bundled with features, the problem starts. They who knows it even better, even not touch the features. :)

Go to C:Windows\System32\drivers, and delete mfefirek.sys.

Get CCleaner, Run disc cleaner and registry cleaner. See if there is any changes in the behavior of the PC.

Edit: But both of them are listed in start menu, as I am seeing.

Start Menu\Programs\AVG PC TuneUp
