Just built this system 3 weeks ago Windows was installed for a second time shortly after intiall build/install in hopes problem was just a corupt file but no cigar.

Bsod is random 1 in a couple of days normally what will happen is something like firefox will crash, I will reset firefox an maybe try to play final fantasy 14 then bsod, or once while opening a program called "whocrashed" caused a bsod.

When running verifier I am not able to get windows to open all the way get bsod listed with "likely cause Hidclass.sys 0xC9" code.. On a proper crash (no verifier) got " ntoskrnl.exe
Bugcheck code: 0x1A (0x41790, 0xFFFFFA80008026B0, 0xFFFF, 0x0)
and
ntfs.sys
Bugcheck code: 0x50 (0xFFFFF8A02227C540, 0x0, 0xFFFFF880012BEC27, 0x2)"

I attached info as directed in the bsod post and thank you foryou considerations.

Your crashes are caused by three things

1- Memory corruption

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

2- Driver verifier is on
and blaming HIDCLASS.sys hidclass.sys is an ancient driver for human interface deivces (keyboards, mice, etc) If not needed rename hidclass.bak.

If needed run a system file check. Let us know what the report says at the end

3-LGVirHid;Logitech Gamepanel Virtual HID Device Driver;c:\windows\system32\drivers\LGVirHid.sys [2009-11-23 14856] S3 ASPI;Advanced SCSI Programming ...

This needs to be re-installed and updated if at all possible

ZigZag Thank you kindly for your response.

Mem test cam out clear on 7 passes how ever removing the logitech software has seemed to clear the issues no system crashes, video game, nor firefox since removing said software/drivers also before posting I indeed tried the sfc /scannow which 2 out of 3 times stopped pre 50% 3rd time it finished with several issues found, but now after removing the software I got a 100% with no errors.

I've built systems for years and never ran into something so trivial guess this made for a crash course lesson on debugging the new generation of x64 OS.

Thanks again for your time.

(since I just bought this keyboard... Now to see if I can get logitech to do a free upgrade to the recently released next gen of this board that is win 7 64 compatible to rectify this problem :P.)
