Random Crash ci.dll

I just recovered my system for the second time due to a CI.DLL crash. This has happened once in the past as well and really took me awhile to fix. Usually after this happens, my RAM shows errors for a day, but within a day memtest no longer shows memory errors.

I have included the dumps and reports as the main thread states.

Some basic system information:
OS: Windows 7 Profession x64
Processor: AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition
Memory: 8GB Corsair Dominator RAM running at 800Mhz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P

Any idea how to stop this from happening?

I suggest a system files check.

Open an elevated command prompt and enter sfc /scannow.

Here's the log from that run. Says it found some corrupt files but was unable to fix them.

Now reboot, and run the SFC again. You may also try a repair install.

I tried a repair install to just get back into windows. I'll run the SFC again on next reboot.

I see this is an old post but... I started having a problem with my ci.dll file. After spending to much time searching the net, I read to try and rebuild the Master Boot Record. Anyways hope this helps someone eles
