Hello,
I just bought a new Lenovo Y470. I've had it about two weeks and just recently I started noticing something odd. Everything else on the computer works perfect except for one thing. When I'm playing music from my hard drive, if there is more than one song listed in the playlist (specifically when I'm playing only one album), the media player will play a seemingly random amount of the song and then skip to another song.
A couple points about this problem:
-This happens in BOTH iTunes and Windows Media Player.
-Sometimes it plays 20 or 30 seconds at the beginning of the song and then skips, sometimes it plays all the way through the song till about the last minute and then it skips.
-In iTunes it skips to two songs after the song being played.
-In WMP it skips to the very next song.
I have searched around and seen a few people on forums with this problem, and there seems to be no answers. Some even said the problem was also transferred to their iPod.
This is very frustrating because I can't listen to music without it skipping. Any help? Any ideas?
