not shure what you mean by reseting. There is no such option in the projector. The gpu is connected through VGA with the projector. It could also be connected with HDMI but that didn't make a difference.
The LG PC monitor I'm using is connected with DVI-D and also stutters heavily in videoblack. Even more than the projector. That's why I doubt that it's a problem of the projector or cable connection. Also if you connect the old office PC to the projector with the same VGA cable the playback runs smooth...
