Stuttering Video playback with GT710 and GTX 1050TI

not shure what you mean by reseting. There is no such option in the projector. The gpu is connected through VGA with the projector. It could also be connected with HDMI but that didn't make a difference.
The LG PC monitor I'm using is connected with DVI-D and also stutters heavily in videoblack. Even more than the projector. That's why I doubt that it's a problem of the projector or cable connection. Also if you connect the old office PC to the projector with the same VGA cable the playback runs smooth...

If the card is VGA, then the connection should be for VGA. Thus, you should connect the cable to the VGA connection on the card and monitor. You should then, go into the monitor controls and set the connection to VGA vice DVI-D.

I really don't understand ASUS. The specs say the card supports DVI at 2560x... resolution. The picture of the card shows HDMI and VGA connectors. However, when I look at the manual for it, it clearly says it's a VGA card.

When I go to the ASUS driver download, it says there are two hot fixes to install for Win 7 but that was in 2016. I would think that Microsoft would have included those hot fixes in subsequent updates.

It doesn't matter if I use MPC-HC, MPC-BE with/without madVR as a renderer
(not even this guide could fix the problem: Configuration: madVR)

You don't think this unnecessary post processing has anything to do with it ?

This is stupid question and maybe already addressed, but I missed it, but are you running any monitoring software to make sure your computer is not overheating, or degrading in performance for any other reason? Something like HWmonitor can record cpu, gpu load, frequency, temp etc. Over the years I've seen some crazy stuff on my computers, like CPU lock at full turbo frequency and never throttle down even at idle (which made it easy to overheat) , or got stuck at low frequency and never go full throttle, no matter the load.

The projector is connected with VGA and the Monitor with DVI. The connection doesn't make a
difference. It doesn't matter if I connect the projector with HDMI or VGA and doesn't matter if I
connect the monitor with DVI or VGA. I tested it and the symptoms remain the same.
There is one difference tho' in comparison to the 2 GeForce gpu's I tested before.
The geforce cards also showed a sort of moving cords in the image. Like if the signal is a bit
disturbed. The ATI Asus doesn't show those so therefore is a better fitting/compatible card.
I also highly doubt that the stuttering is a problem of the card or the driver since
the asus ati 2015, and asus geforce 2018 gpu's both have the same stutter symptoms.

I don't use madVR anymore. I just gave it a try to see if it can fix the problem with it's multiple
preferences options. I tried all possible options and they only made it worse. At the moment I'm using the regular renderer which comes with the Player. For MPC-BE it is EVR (enhanced video renderer).

I have a big tower case and 4 big fans in it so I highly doubt that I'm having temperature problems.
I also check the HW-monitor every now and then and it doesn't show anything bad.

Do you get the problem if you disconnect the projector from the computer?

What graphics chipset is installed? I can't find that for your mobo.

Are you doing any overclocking?

What app are you using to play your videos? Sorry, if you've already answered that question.

Are you specifying frame rates anywhere for playback?

The problem remains the same even if the projector is the only thing connected or if the monitor is the only thing connected.
The mobo doesn't have an onboard graphic chip. You can't use it without a GPU.
I don't do any overclocking. I tried the following player so far: MPC-BE, MPC-HC, MPDN, pot player and vlc.
I don't convert any frame rates. The MPDN is by far the best player and only has minimal stuttering left.
Also it isn't possible to do anything else when playing a video. For example if I copy paste files from one harddrive to another and watch a movie at the same time it stutters so much that it becomes frozen.

It seems to me that the whole system is much too weak for everything and this seems to be the main problem here. The whole system lacks of power.

So there is only one conclusion. Windows 7 isn't compatible with Asus TUF Sabertooth X99 Intel X99 So.2011-3
So therefore I have to switch to Windows 10. It's a shame that it had come to this........

According to your mobo specs, Win 7, Win 8 and Win 8.1 are supported. Doesn't mention Win 10.

I don't have time this morning to delve further into this. Tis noted that the projector is not part of this problem.

I already tried the GeForce forum when I had the GeForce GPU's. They completley ignored me...
After 2 month of seeking help through forums I highly doubt that anyone is able to help me. I guess you would have to spend a weekend with me to widness the problems in real time. No one would do that which I understand.
It is as it is. And here is my summary: I bought this hardware worth 1500 Euros
Motherboard: Asus TUF Sabertooth X99 Intel X99 So.2011-3
CPU: Intel Core i7 6800K 6x 3.40GHz
Memory: 32GB DDR4-2400 DIMM
Power supply: 1050 Watt Enermax Platimax

and tried 3 GPU's with it:

Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
ASUS GeForce GT 710
ASUS AMD R5230-SL-2GD3-L

tried all players, drivers etc. and even switched from my 250 Euro Esi Juli Xte Soundcard to the regular onboard sound of the mobo. And it all didn't help.
The PC was bought from a reliable german computer shop (who is active with great revenues for almost 20 years) as a complete system already build together and had certifcates that they tested all the hardware to make shure that nothing is broken. And also installed and tested Windows 7.

Even without playing videos at all the system gets slower every day and becomes more and more a pain to work with.

In comparison the almost 10 year old office PC with only 2 Cores and an onboard GPU plays all the videos fine with great performance and seems to have overall more power. It's sick but this is the story of my life trying to have a great media PC is not granted to me....

Go to the NVIDIA Control Panel. In 3D Settings, Adjust Image Settings.................., activate the "Use my preference..........." Adjust the slider up or down to see if playback improves.

Are you seeing the same thing when you play a video on the web, such as YouTube?

I don't have a NVIDIA card at the moment. I got rid of those cards. The showed light cords and were therefore crap.

at the moment I'm using a ATI card: ASUS AMD R5230-SL-2GD3-L

Streaming videos such a youtube looks even worse. more stuttering and also tearing

Light cords (whatever that is) would be the subject of a different thread but probably in the GeForce forum since the problem seems to be unrelated to Win 7.

You might want to first set a system restore point but-

Run msconfig.exe

In the Services tab, check the box for "hide all............" Then click on disable. Apply the change.

In the Startup tab, click on disable all. Apply the change.

Reboot.

Try some video.

Regardless of whether or not it helps, run msconfig.exe again and restore everything back to normal.
