It dose not matter the browser if it will not load I have to disable and re enable the network adapter, its only happening on one PC. I have Kaspersky Internet security 2013 installed. Going to uninstall it today and see if its fouled up and needs a clean reinstall but if that fails what else can I do to fix this issue?

Seems Kas was the problem reinstalled it and so far no loading issues. I guess that random hard crash broke Kas LOL

Antivirus programs often have "safe browsing" and "web shields" that can cause conectivity issues. If the AV used reputation services, it may even black sites you consider safe. Good you got it sorted ;)

I can genreally tell when the AV program has gone bonkers this is a new one that's thrown me for a loop, normally(6 or so times in the last 2ish years on different 3 comps) when kas goes nuts it breaks internet altogether, can't get on no matter what.

Generally it warns me of bad sites, ect so I thought the issue was deeper than just the AV program...thank havens no need to reinstall the OS... BTW got any links that show you how to do refresh windose without nuking it?. I hate reseting my programs and windose settings tho I know its better to format and reinstall.

A possible alternative. But sometimes only a wipe and fresh install will work. Having complete system images is the best IMHO. A program like Acronis True Image, or the free Macrium Reflect, which other members here recommend highly, can save your bacon. I use Acronis and make 2 images every weekend. I always have images going back a month on a 2nd internal data drive. Saved me more then once when windows decides to mess up!

Ah thanky thanky I never got the hang of win7 repair instal LOL

I don't have the HD space, I really should pick up 2 500MB drives and use them strictly for the OS and OS backup.

Thanks again!
