Interesting - Driver Genius uninstall.
It appears as though Driver Genius is a form of adware, not necessarily malicious, but classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP)
The following on-demand malware scanners should clean it up (and anything that might be lurking)
AdwCleaner:
Follow Steps I, II, and III (Download, Scan, and Clean) in this tutorial on the author's site:
How to use AdwCleaner version 3.x
Since SevenForums is where you are posting, please also
post any logs here on SevenForums - not on the General Changelog Team (GCT) site. SevenForums members might ask you to launch other on-demand scanners that are not familiar to GCT.
When your system is clean of malware, launch AdwCleaner a final time and click the Uninstall button.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free

Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
[

Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
Make sure that there is NOT a checkmark next to:
[
..] Enable free trial of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium
Then click the Finish button.
Allow Mbam to update the definitions file, then
Press the
Fix Now or
Scan Now button to begin scanning
If any malware was found, press the details link, export the log to a text file and attach the log file to a new post.
Note
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you are asked to restart the computer.
The restart is REQUIRED to allow Mbam to complete the removal of the malware.
Failure to restart means that the malware is still present on your machine.
:info: You want to restart in Normal mode, not in Safe mode.
That's good enough to start - there might be additional scans depending on what AdwCleaner and Mbam report.
