It runs Google "default" settings.

Any customized settings is once-only use. (It's useful when you recover your emails, as you need once-only use in your recovery);

So, what are you using for an email client? Thunderbird or Outlook? I can help with Thunderbird, but I don't mess around with Outlook.

You should also know that older versions of Outlook and gmail probably won't work come May 30th due to Google not allowing "less secure access."

It basically means they need to have the ability to invade your privacy in order to use the product.
