Realtek Audio sound issue

Subwoofer on my pc makes pop sound on power off. I tried different divers but no help. My current Realtek driver is 6.0.1.8186.

Subwoofer on my pc makes pop sound on power off

That is common. Its not the Realtek driver, its a function of how the power is cut off. Either the speaker power supply or the PC power supply.

Thank you for the reply. I am dual booting windows 7 with windows 10. When I power off windows 10, the subwoofer does not make loud pop sound.

I still do not think its the Realtek. If anything, its the shutdown process in Win 7. Where in the shutdown process it closes the sound. Similar things can happen during startup, depending on where the sound is activated in the startup.

You can uninstall the Realtek sound in the device manager (DO NOT uninstall the driver). Then restart the PC and when Windows starts it will detect and reinstall. The MAY put the sound in a different spot in the shutdown sequence and help.
