How can you tell if your realtek is working. When I click play back devices I have RealTek HDMI output and it says ready. Then I have speakers, Sound Blaster X-Fi xtreme Audio Default Device with green check mark. Last I have Digital Audio (S/PDiF) X-Fi Extreme Audio- Ready. I have no idea if realtek is working or not.

Do you hear sound? Are their green bars that go up and down on the device checked or set as default when sound is played? Pretty good indicators.

With the speakers set as default i have good sound when I play something. When I set the realtek HDMI as default the green bar goes up and down but no sound. If I set the digital audio as default the green bar goes up and down but no sound. Speakers is good. I'm no real savy on sound problems.
