My confusion remains about what is a task bar and what is a tool bar and what is quick launch.

But I saw, then could not find, a path to edit my pinned shortcuts.
My pinned shortcuts is two rows deep. I want to move a pinned item so that it always appears
when booting.

So what is the path to the folder for stored pinned shortcuts?

If there is a history of recent tasks like this which I can't find, tell me how to view that.

1. The default location of the Taskbar is along the bottom of the desktop area. The Taskbar contains the Start Menu, Quick launch icons, notification tray and the system clock.

2. The Toolbar is the options menu items found along top of applications such as WordPad.

Then I do not understand your question.

That should do it. I'll see if I can make the change I want. It's just like moving bookmarks around.

Well I may be out of luck and have to try to 'slide' something. The list is alphabetical
and not manual to change.

Solved. I unpinned where the shortcut got dropped and Dragged the Desktop icon into the

first row and it stayed there.
