My motherboard is very slow at booting...

OK, my computer has to start a few applications which are in the Startup-folder and the Run-folder of the Registry. And it has to connect a few network drives.

Oh my god :shock: My wooden board boots few times faster

How is this counting done?

It counts since the logoff until you sign into your account, or since when it restarts the system until it loads all the system services (aka ready to use)?

Not sure. If it counts everything it would count the time my computer spends at the dual-boot screen.

As far as I know it counts everything from the time you push restart until you are back at your desktop.

It was 28 sec the first time. I disabled the Marvell controller and got 23. At least on my board, it takes 5 seconds to initialize the Marvell controller.

I took your advice, disabled the Marvell controller, I also disabled the subframe epc system along with the tpu cores and svc hosting regulators.

Really happy with the results

I'd be quite happy with that too, but there does seem to be a much larger space between takes and the time than normal.

Seven was faster for me by far right from the get tgo (caompared to XP). Of course, the SSD made a big difference when installed that. It's great to want to look at something on the PC, press the power button, and be surfing in less than a minute

I hadn't run this utility on my 3 year old Dell Latitude E6400 laptop since buying my Intel 320 Series SSD.

This isn't bad
