i need help with faster boot times,,,recently i just noticed yesterday that it went from 45-46 seconds to over a minute....i havent downloaded anything. i just wish i can boot my pc in around 30-40 seconds.
oh and i noticed in my add/remove programs list that i see multiple programs with the name of "microsoft visual c+++..." and "microsoft sql server 2005"? what is that used for? sounds like something i dont use...anyone know?
Wow.
Nothing to say.
Im not thaat surprised at the boot time, i do have an extremely fast comp.
I followed loads of guides with making boot time shorter, even regedited some services out!

Please share your guides and regedits. Thanks. I would like to bring my boot time lower too, but I'm afraid I might edit the wrong entry's and screw up my system. I've notice alot of misinformed guides out there. How stable is your system? I would like to try reducing my startup items and unnecessary services too. Thanks!
Read my last post, it will clear some things up...
System is very stable actually.....
Search google for something like "Delay services on startup".
I hope I am of any help to you![]()
Lol... I guess that depends on how fast you type.53 seconds. Does it affect my Boot time that I have to type in a password on the logon screen? :sarc:
