I've done all the settings you just mentioned and will be rebooting. I'll be back in a few hours to check in again.

Edit
So far nothing really changed after that. I find it odd that my fan starts a bit on log in and then goes away. But other than that, it seems to be just like it was prior to those settings.

Still no BSOD since the last mention of it.

To rule out hardware failure please do the following:

Run Furmark to test your graphics card FurMark: Graphics Card Stability and Stress Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net

FurMark Setup:
- If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
- In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature" (BurnIn test in newer versions).
Click "Go" to start the test
- Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
- Click "Quit" to exit

Run HD diagnostics to check you Hard drive for problems:

Hard Drive Diagnostic Procedure

Run memtest86+ for at least 8 passes to test your ram and the ram slots on your MOBO:

RAM - Test with Memtest86+

And finally run prime95 to test your CPU for errors:

Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

post back and let us know how everything goes.

I've downloaded these tools but will have to do these tonight and or tomorrow. I'll have to locate a CD of USB drive to do them.

-Haven't done any of these yet-

I'm currently running SFC again. I'm running it right before I reboot the computer. I've also downloaded the tool you mentioned, I'll let you know the results.

Edit
SFC ran fine and found no integrity issues
/Edit

I haven't had the computer shut down out of no where due to overheating that I recall. However, the fan seems to run almost constantly. (I sure hope it isn't a hardware issue.)

I find it odd that I still had a BSOD after I removed BitDefender and Alcohol 120 (to which I've had both programs on the computer for 6 months with no problem prior). The thing that kept triggering the BSOD was whenever I used Firefox. I believe it was strongly due to having those trojans since they more than likely made use of the default browser. Once I uninstalled it, it got rid of the tabs (about 6 or so) that I had open and then I reinstalled it and haven't had a BSOD since.

I did however get a BSOD when I was trying to uninstall Alcohol 120 (that was the only time I got a BSOD without the presence of Firefox)

If I had to take a guess, I'm thinking this BSOD had more to do with malware. I've run an entire computer scan with MSE, MalwareBytes, and I also ran Kaspersky TDSSKiller. I'm thinking the computer is clean now, but I'm debating whether I should do a factory restore to be completely safe.

From what I can come up with, the only options that could have caused the BSOD are: Applications (BitDefender & Alcohol), Malware, or hardware issues. To be quite honest, I'm hoping it was the malwares fault.

Any ideas before I mark this thread as solved.

Also, I wanted to personally thank koolkat for all the help. I would also like to thank Arc, NorthernSoul55, and Dsprague (I know I didn't get to run the hardware test - to be honest I've never run a hardware test and I didn't want to risk overheating something)

I genuinely appreciate the time you guys put into this.
