Okay well, I set BIOS To Optimized Defaults, Ram Stick 2 In Bay 1 and It's testing past the previous 26% bottleneck crash.

Will test all slots for clarity. Still looking forward to reading replies

personally I would be tempted to RMA the ram but I would send both sticks so I get a guaranteed matching pair back, if memtest86 is coming up with errors the ram is faulty and the fact one stick works well in both slots suggests the slots are ok in the motherboard ?

If you RMA the ram then that works your sorted ! and if the new RAM doesn't work you can conclude it's a problem with the motherboard and or memory controller ?
