Solved Recent false Genuine Windows Activation Notice

Beginning last week, every few hours a pop-up window notifies me that my version of Windows may not be genuine. My computer is a few years old and has been running a genuine version of windows the entire time. When I check my computer properties it states my windows is genuine and active. Potentially related ancillary information:

- I recently installed a new hard drive after a hard drive crash (~ 2 months ago).
- My windows update has been disabled and I haven't been able to enable it the past week, possibly separate issue, but concerns me.
- No threats detected by anti-virus, malware protection, etc.

With luck this could be fairly simple to fix...
Open an ELevated Command Prompt, and run the following command...

REGSVR32 WINTRUST.DLL

You should get a popup saying 'succeeded' - reboot and run another MGADiag report, and post that.
