Recent Windows Explorer Change In X86 Win7-Home?

On my wife's X86 Win7-Home PC, the operation of Windows Explorer seems to have recently substantially changed. When Windows Explorer is selected, a user is now taken to something called 'Libraries' and one can not apparently get to the old lists of folders and files that previously appeared. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? Could this problem be somehow related to the installation of Microsoft Edge? I am baffled!

I see no reason to suspect Microsoft Edge, as nobody else has reported this issue after installation of that program. However, you could try a System Restore to a point in time before installation of Microsoft Edge.

Another option would be to Clean Boot the Computer, and see if the issue persists.

Also, if you have another User Account on that Computer, ask yourself, does the issue persist if you logon as a different User?
