Recording Audio/ mic and system sounds...with headphones?

I have a screen recorder that records my screen and also my mic at the same time, i make videos to help with my knowledge base articles in sharepoint. I need to record my mic/ and also system sounds like if i have someone on skype and i am screen recording, i need to be able to record there audio, my audio, while i am wearing headphones (dont want to disturb people at work), is there some kind of virtual mic that will do this, so i can shoose this "virtual mic" with my screen recorder program and pick up sounds to record from that. Sorry if that is super confusing lol. I could not find a solution to this on google.

Try this one ( Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 Pro | H.264 Encoding | VC-1 Codec | Streaming Silverlight Video | IIS Smooth Streaming | Real Time Encoder | Microsoft® Expression® ). The free version does, however, have a 10 minute recording limit. If you need more time for the recordings, you'll need to buy the Pro edition ($199). But I would first try it out and check whether it does what you need.

To record your own voice through the mic and the system sounds that you hear out of your PC speakers, you should go to the microphone setting in the system sounds and select recording, then click on the microphone icon. Go to properties page and you will see listen. Under listen, check the box for "listen to this device". Now, when you speak, you will hear yourself via the speakers. If there is feedback, turn the external speakers off and use a headset to avoid feedback. You can now speak into the mic, hear yourself along with whatever system sound you are listening to. Your voice will now be inputed along with the system sounds to be recorded at the same time. No need to do it twice with a different sound track. Doing it on a different track is dooable of course but you can spend a lot of time to synch up the sound. And, if you are recording video, it is really time consuming.

Also, you should note this. On my PC configuration, I have a line coming out of the green speakers output on the sound card of my pc to the line in input of the sound card. As I have a audio splitter connector, the line coming out of the green output of the sound card also drives my pc speaker.

The microphone pink input into the sound card is connected by itself. Nothing else is connected to it.

Try it, it will work fine the way I have described.
