Recovery Partition exist but no DATASAFE option possible_DELL XPS

Hi Everyone,

I was trying to get any feedback from Dell Support website but so far no answer.
I got stuck with the recovery of my laptop Dell XPS. It supposed to be super easy since I DO HAVE RECOVERY PARTITION, which i have never changed, including FACTORY.wim. When i run F8 and repair my computer there is no Option to go back to Factory stage. When I try to chose - "recover from early saved image" it does not see the factory.wim on my drive..
Is there sth that might cause a problem.. went tru lots of forum can't find solution.
please help.

i do have dvd from dell but its not "Recovery disk" only windows installed on my computer...

Did you ever change the Operating System on the PC? If it was changed from the original, the Dell PC Restore (recovery partition) is no longer valid and the ONLY way to restore is to do a clean install from a disc.

F8 would/should get you only to w7 options. Try pressing F10 or F11 to enter factory recovery. The correct key combo should be shown at the bottom of the screen while booting.

How about checking MY Computer and looking at "D" drive.
My laptop came with Recovery but was already loaded in the "D" drive or as Britton30 stated when you boot up there is where you have option to Recover.
