Hi Guys and Girls

i have some questions about wiping and re formatting my rig, questions are.

i have a usb3 pen drive, can i use that in the usb3 hub on my motherboard,i know it can be done in the usb2 hubs, but would like to try and do in the usb3 hub,my motherboard is a ASUS P8Z68-V-PRO.

i have done a vast amount of searching online about this and come up with nothing in this nature,is there anything that needs to be on the pen, like drivers for usb3,or is it something in my bios that needs to be enabled.

we all like to have things done as quickly as possible and by using the usb3,will/should be alot faster.

hope to hear as soon as possible, and thankyou for taking the time in reading my post.

The problem is that Win7 doesn't have all USB3 drivers in the installer so it may prompt for driver during install. You could then try Loading the USB3 drivers for your USB3 controller, normally an element of the chipset. If this will not work then as Ray says you'll need to use a USB2 port and flash stick.

It would help if you'd fill in your System Specs in the bottom left corner of your post.
