Refund on Windows 7 Home Premium Pack

Hey all,
I bought the Windows 7 on microsoft.com and downloaded it from the website. Turns out my computer can't handle Windows 7 and I need to know if I can get a refund since it is completely useless to me and if so how do I go about that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely a question for Microsoft. I'd give their support or customer service line a call.

their standard physical media would be here: Microsoft North American Retail Product Refund Guidelines
but getting a refund for a download is harder :/
I stumbled across this link: Microsoft Store Online - Welcome but it didn't actually work for me as I'm in the UK. Hope it works for you

Biggles thanks for the link advice it was very helpful on the return policy and what to do to return a downloadable program. Windows 7 isnt for me...lol Again thank both of you I will let you know how it turned out.

When you say "Home Premium Pack", do you mean the 3-Pack they've offered in the past? Assuming you have a legitimate key, haven't installed it on a bunch of computers (and activated it), you might be able to sell it for what you paid for it, assuming the refund is a no-go. That was a sweet deal.

Make sure the key is valid and not already tied to another machine, though, or you'll have an angry customer on your hands.
