Solved Regedit, how to insert to HKCU as user

Hi,

I'm trying to install an soft via sccm into an windows7 64 bit system
now the first soft is an msi that is installed via the system-account and this works fine,
but in the same package i install an xxx.reg file via the useraccount into HKCU and this doesn't work. i'm getting error: Registry editing is disable by your administrator
I'm not used to work with windows7 but in windowsXP an simple user can insert into HKCU without problem.

is there an way to tell windows7 that an simple user-account can insert into the registry of HKCU?

any help would be very welcome

Hello Moby,

You might see if using OPTION ONE in the tutorial below may be able to allow you to edit the registry afterwards.

Regedit - Enable or Disable - Vista Forums

Afterwards, I would recommend that you do a full scan of your system with Malwarebytes free just to be safe and help make sure your system is clean of malware or viruses.
