After many years since i installed win 7, i had to do it again and am at a loss. I have win 10 on another HD and all is working well, so far, but when i see i have to start from scratch..with win 7. I AM USELESS. I know i need internet to start things rolling, but it keeps telling me that it could not find a adapter. BTW, i have ethernet cable attached to the desktop. Before my desktop crash i had both systems working network wise ..so why can't windows find it? After the crash i did remove my wireless d-link adapter and had no problem with the network working on both of them, but i was getting better results the network being wired, i removed the wireless D=Link adapter. What does a wireless adapter have to do with a wired connection? BTW, this post is being written on my notebook. ..so i did not show the inners of this notebook, but had in the past,
