Anyone here have a solution to Realtek ALC653 issue. I keep having a wave like distortion when playing songs. If you know how audio cassette tapes sounded when they got partially demagnitized... That is similar to how the sound is except it is clipped and over loud. I am running the most current drivers from MS Update. Any ideas on a fix?? :(

Hi Jopplehead.

chev65 has suggested setting sound quality to: 16 bit, 48000 Hz, (DVD Quality) at this thread: http://www.sevenforums.com/sound-audio/22612-no-sound-out-front-speakers.html

Also blackroseMD1 posted that sometimes using "speaker fill" to emulate 5.1 sound when only 2 channel stereo is available can cause unwanted effects here: http://www.sevenforums.com/sound-audio/22620-audio-5-1-windows-7-a.html

Hope this is helpful?
