Does the Windows problem reports center ever find a solution to anything , i can't recall a single instance of this thing actually coming up with a solution to anything.

It states the actual .exe that crashed which is usually on the original crash popup message too :/
Usually clean boot will deal with third party crap and if it doesn't usually it's a rogue security suite causing the crashes,
Which that can be looked at closer by using safe mode with networking that kills all third party crap,
But yes it's a process of elimination to the direct cause

I can confirm it has found a solution for me before, of course it was 6 months after I had already solved it myself. But it did find it and offer it to me.

It's only useless if the stopped working popup shows the effected .exe file that crashed,
If the popup doesn't it might give you an idea of what did crash :/
