I used to always use CTRL + Shift + Arrow Key to highlight a whole word but now when I try CTRL + SHIFT + Arrow Key it changes one of my monitors screen orientation.

I have dual monitors if you are confused with the above statement.

I would like to know how to change it back to highlighting a word rather then changing the screen orientation.

This would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect the problem is in video card related crapware from manufacturer.

You can try the following (for ATI cards):
1. Backup current installed driver with DriverBackup!
to a folder ABC.
2. Turn off your internet connection (unplug cable or shutdown wireless)
3. Uninstall all ATI video drivers and related stuff (Catalyst Control Center, other staff with ATI in the name, etc) through Control Panel Programs and Features.
4. DO NOT LET THE SYSTEM INSTALL DRIVER AUTOMATICALLY. Cancel if it will try.
Instead manually install driver - Control Panel - System - Device manager. You video card will be with small yellow triangle on it, Right click - Properties- Driver tab - Update Driver - Browse my computer for driver software - Browse to ABC folder (see 1). Click Next button.

Please let us know if it worked for you.

I found out it was Actual Multiple Monitors. Just need to find the setting. I found out by ending the process of Actual Multiple Monitors and tried and it stopped. Thanks!

EDIT: Found it! Unticked the Enable hotkeys box pressed okay. Restarted Actual Multiple Monitors and it worked! Thanks
