INCLUDING ! the Microsoft Office apps. which continued to bug me for a license key.
That is, until I set OpenOffice as default for any document calling on M'soft's app.
I'd like to get rid of any space wasting programs on my Win 7 laptop.
But ; which ones are trial only. I dont use the programs, and wont find each that has expired as a trial, having no need for them. Power Point for ex.

I'm thinking everything under M'soft Office? Would that be a start?
AND, what's M'soft Live Add-in, and Office Workspace?? I dont have a business,
and like to keep things simple. Wanna clean up.

The best way to do that is to format the computer using an original Windows 7 DVD (you can also lent one) and use your CD-key under the laptop during the installation.

If you do that, be sure to save all your data (if any) and get your drivers ready.

Like that, you are starting fresh and don't have all the annoying trial software/bloatware that manufacturers installs ;)

You can do that easily by removing/uninstall the Ms'soft's Apps in Control Panel=>Programs. This is part of the hidden partition anyway and whenever you'll need it, you 'll only have to restore those apps.

I can see Three major Microsoft Office Apps to remove quietly!

This will uninstall aswell all the security fixs and updates provided by Microsoft for Office Home & Student 2007.

-Then Trial Backup Manager can be remove if you want...use the win 7 instead or your prefered one.

-Trial kind of "online backup".
-Trail Games furnished by the manufacturer.
-Trial Firewall as Norton if you plan to have a free one.

No need an extrem format way to grab some place around.

You can try Download | The PC Decrapifier

But it's best to run it right after you set up your machine. It didn't clean off everything but it was helpful.

There is usually tons of preinstalled applications with today's laptops. Something about it helps cut down on production costs. The best way to find out about Microsoft live products is to go to the Microsoft live web site and read about them. Microsoft live products are things such as windows live mail, moviemaker I think you mentioned an office add on. Whenever documents you've completed should be safe if you uninstall trial versions.
Then you can go to computer, rightclick on your C drive go to properties, and use the disk cleanup utility tab.
