Solved Remove deleted Email from Outlook 2010

In an attempt to delete unused accounts from Outlook 2010 one still pops up and fails to finish of course it's polling. The account is no longer visible in the account list so I can't remove it.
Still pops up with wrong password.
Tried to reinstall the account, but it got off course no reply from the GMail server, since it's removed or at least recently made inactive.
How to delete unwanted E-Mail accounts after deleting them from Outlook?

Control panel then mail. From there click on accounts and check their. If still unable to resolve the issue you can create a new profile from app.

Thanks for reply. I removed the account by normal procedure, as described, but by searching the registry numerous old Email accounts still existed. Take a program like Passview and all these accounts are still there. You can't install another similar one because the name is stored in the register.
So I can't repeat the deletion. If I create a new profile, would that include the existing posts,maps and newer accounts I have?
Is there no way to clean the register of the crap that is left by Outlook?
Were is the list stored with which the polling is done? Deleting the item would probably take it out?
I tried by scan all sending receiving email in Outlook. All active accounts roll out and Ok, but the non existent or deleted one is still in the poll list.
For instance the OMI accountmanager contains a lot of old accounts. And of course in the profiles.

I searched with regseeker and removed the following key of the register containing the account.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook\9375CFF0413111d3B88A00104B2A6676\00000068
Now Outlook is no longer polling this account.
Seems to be finally solved.

I'm glad that you where able to fix it however deleting from the registry is risky if you don't know what you are doing and you should always make a backup. Just tuck that in your hat. Also while we are on the topic don't use registry cleaners. They cause more issues that they fix.

I knew. I've backed it up. Some keys would cause Outlook failing to run the accounts list in send and receive mode. It's possible to transmit accounts in a reg entry. Dozens of other links still contained the account, but I left them in place, since it's not polling that one anymore. In the OMI manager you can't delete keys or at least needs editing and that is for sure very risky and difficult.
I always have multiple total backups, do that frequently. So I can restore or take something out of it.
If you try to restore an account it will create a 2e account of that name. Haven't tested yet if I would be able to add that one as new under the same name. It would proof that the old account was indeed deleted.
Try that after I back up again.
I'm always surprised about the list of old accounts including PW, which pass-view finds. There must be a list of these in the register or the profile?

I copied the entire OMI key, (including all account keys) and then removed the old accounts entries. It's still working fine with Outlook and passview is no longer displaying the old obsolete accounts list.
