Solved Remove "Get Windows 10" from taskbar

You can`t dual boot windows 10, it does not play well with others.

You can, but there are things you have to do to each OS, not worth the aggravation, just use 1 OS or the other.
I'm one of many that are dual-booting. Yes, certain things to avoid like copying directly from one drive to the other.

OK thanks for that. I did option 4 followed by option 2. I have restarted my machine and it does not appear to have come back.

I simply zipped the contents of C:/Windows/system32/GWX, retaining the zip in that folder and deleting everything else. No more Win 10 nags.

Disable the scheduled task

Hello, this is installed from windows update KB3035583, if you find it in Add/remove programs "programs and features" try uninstalling, if it is not in the list (like what I had) you can disable the scheduled tasks entry as follows:
1. go to start type "scheduled tasks" Enter
2. in Scheduled tasks left pane click "Task Scheduler Library/Microsoft/Windows/Setup/GWX"
3. In the right pane, right click each entry and choose "Disable"

reboot and "Poof" gone
