remove preloaded MS Office from Lenovo with Win-7 PRO x64 (OEM)

I have a new Lenovo ThinkPad E540 preloaded with Win-7 PRO x64. and MS Office.
I cannot identify the version of MS-Offce without running it ... and I don't want to do that
5 years ago a click to run (MS-Office) in Q: partition a Toshiba. turned into a run of nags from MS to "buy" !

Q: drive on Lenovo is the recovery partition

I have RevoUninstaller PRO that will uninstall x64/x86 programs, but I believe MS load x86 Office.

Can I simply uninstall MS Office and know that MS cannot/will not resurrect Office nags ?
- there is so much conflicting claims in other places on the web ...

MS Office 15 is actually Office 2013.

MS recommend that Office be installed in x86 mode, which is the default installation. As yours came pre installed it's most likely the x86 version.

If you look in Control Panel, Programs & Features & scroll down to Microsoft Office it should also tell you what version it is. Normally uninstalling Office from Programs & Features should remove it properly.
