Solved Remove Windows 7 on welcome and shutdown screen?

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a way to remove the Windows 7 logo that can be seen during the welcome screen and also the shutting down screen?

Does anyone know if this is at all possible? I'd like to remove it completely as I've already replaced the background image with my own custom screen but unfortunately the Windows 7 logo clutters it up.

If anyone could point me in the right direction on this I would greatly appreciate it.

Brilliant! Thanks a lot for this. It's exactly what I was looking for.

EDIT: One more thing, is it possible to get rid of the actual Welcome/Shutting down text and swirling orb?

OK, I found your tutorial on how to remove the welcome text and was succesfull in doing so, but for the life of me I can't find the Shutting down text anywhere in the winlogon.exe.mui

Edit: Nevermind I see it's in a different file. Doh!
