Solved Remove -Windows application icon- on top of the software icon

Hello, every program shortcut on my desktop appears with the Windows application icon on top of it and this is very annoying. I've searched quite thoroughly but haven't found any solutions yet. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

PS: The look of the attachments describes how every program desktop shortcut looks. The first shows how it is, the second how i want it to look like, like the software's icon.

Thank you for your response, but still the same :/. Seems likes an option however, not as if the icon cache is corrupted.

You can try restoring the lnk file association from this tutorial to see if it fixes that,

In the .zip link provided in the post, i searched all files within it and found no .ink file association. The problem is that every shortcut of my desktop has this look except it's a shortcut of the system. Every shortcut looks like the first attachment. Item's icon + program icon on top of it. Sort of XP's shortcut arrow...
