Hi,

I am trying to remove the transparency from windows Aero themes. The reason I wan't to keep the Aero theme is 2D V-Sync is controlled by Aero (God knows why :p). As a result if I use any other type of theme my browsers videos E.g youtube videos will rip because nothing is controlling the 2D V-sync (Ati catalyst doesn't have an option to force 2D V-Sync that I know of) .

I have Un-ticked "Enable transparency" in (Control Panel-->Appearance and Personalization-->Personalization-->Window Color and Appearance).

As you can see in the image below my TaskBar is non-transparent but the WindowTileBar is;

Note:
I have applied custom task bars,Icons,themes etc.. before (One that makes it look like the Ubuntu Desktop). these may have done something to Aero's original files, I can't be sure it was a rather long time ago.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I have a suspicion that I have overridden some Aero files in the past, maybe showing me how to install the default one again might help.
