removing items from task manager after its closed and dinotify.exe

there are programs that ive finished with them, yet they still stick around in the task manager

how do I stop these programs from continuing to run after theyve closed?

and how do I block this dinotify.exe file from running?

dinotify.exe is a Windows component and should not be stopped or removed. Unless it's disguised as malware or should end but is not. Not sure about the later.

Some programs have lingering elements and will show up in Task Manager. Or the program/s is not behaving right and there's something else going on which is very hard to say without physically looking at your computer. If you feel like these lingering elements shouldn't be there then it's possible the program needs to be completely uninstalled and reinstalled to help fix that.

What programs are you referring to and the names of these lingering Task Manger processes?
