I installed Microsoft Office 2010 (and Love it) however I am not a fan of OneNote. And now it is in the "right click menu" (I don't know how else to describe it). When I right click on some text online, and the menu pops up that says, copy/paste/etc.. it has an option to "Send to OneNote" and "Export to Excel". I don't want either of those.

I'm not sure if this is the right section, sorry. I am just interested in removing that. I would be perfectly okay removing OneNote altogether, but I don't believe I can, atleast, not without messing up something else?

Sorry for the long winded sentances. My Online typing isn't getting much better....

You can clean up the right click menu items in ie8 by modifying the folders under the following registry key.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt

This page explains it with pictures.

How do I remove things from the IE menu now? With IE8 open, I click on tools. There are options there for "OneNote Linked Notes" and" Send to OneNote"

Again, I'm sure it's just a registry change, but I can't determine where.

In IE8, go to Tools / Manage Add-Ons.

This will show the Name and Status (Enabled or Disabled) of each addon, if you want to disable one, highlight it and click on the Disable button in the lower right hand corner.
