Hello all!
I'm in a bit of a dilemma, and I can't necessarily work around this. On most of my systems, I have two users. One of them is the user, and the other is an administrative account that I never login to unless I absolutely have to. I've also done the same on some PC's I've worked on for friends, etc. So yes, each UAC prompt asks me for a password of my administrator account. And that doesn't bother me
.
Now, here's the thing where I'm going. I want to be able to start up a system and not see the administrative account. At all. Meaning, I'm logging into my user. But, I don't want to login automatically. I'm trying to avoid that heavily as I got others in my household who absolutely love to use my computers.
Basically, I want to see the welcome screen and just see my username so I can login, and have a 'switch users' option. That would be useful! I've already checked through the policy editors to see what I can do, but perhaps I'm not seeing the correct options?
Any ideas?
