Windows 7 has apparently lost the ability to rename a folder in Explorer's left-hand (Navigation) pane by left-clicking a highlighted folder a 2nd time.

I know I can use F2 or right-click< Rename, or even rename in the right-hand pane, but I'm so used to doing it it the left-hand pane that I keep forgetting and trying to do it.

So is this intentional or is it a bug? I'd like to know so I can report/request it for a future SR. Although I have a feeling it's supposed to be this way and I'm wasting my time. Still.... it's always worth a try.

Mac,

I think it's intentional. You can see the full options if you right-click on any folder at the left pane of Windows Explorer, so i think it's not bug.

Microsoft is not careless on that case.

Thank's.

Thanks for the reply. I suspected as much. Yet another 'feature' I could live without.

Oh well....
