Hello, how can I get Windows Explorer to show the mouse pointer as an arrow in both the right and left panes at all times?
In the Windows Explorer left pane, the mouse cursor is showing as a finger when hovering over any object. In the right pane, it shows as an arrow. I have set Tools > Folder Options > Click items as follows = Double-click to open an item. I also have Control Panel > Mouse > Pointers > Allow themes to change mouse pointers = unchecked.
I'll swear that the mouse cursor in the left pane has been an arrow for years. Last night, my computer over heated and shut off. Now the left pane cursor shows a finger. When it shut off, I had the Mouse Properties dialog open, changing the pointer speed.
I have attached a screenshot which I photoshopped to show how the cursor changes. Thanks for your help.
