Nasha.Rasha.2010.720p.BluRay.Rus.HDCLUB.mkv.00
Nasha.Rasha.2010.720p.BluRay.Rus.HDCLUB.mkv.01
Nasha.Rasha.2010.720p.BluRay.Rus.HDCLUB.mkv.02
Nasha.Rasha.2010.720p.BluRay.Rus.HDCLUB.mkv.03
...

to

Nasha.Rasha.2010.720p.BluRay.Rus.HDCLUB.mkv.000
Nasha.Rasha.2010.720p.BluRay.Rus.HDCLUB.mkv.001
Nasha.Rasha.2010.720p.BluRay.Rus.HDCLUB.mkv.002
Nasha.Rasha.2010.720p.BluRay.Rus.HDCLUB.mkv.003

basically append a zero after the last . in the file extension

so far i got

ren *.mkv.0? *.00?

which isnt working

other ideas: write a for loop that iterates thru each file and renames it to *.00i where i is the counter

thanks

Batch File Renamer is inconsistent and does not work proper.
I have tried using it a number of times, and it just fails horribly.

Here are some better alternatives
Ant Renamer
WildRename
ReNamer

There are many others out there as well. These are just a couple

Why don't you give Bulk Rename Utility a try. I use that little Program for years now and it never let me down.
It even integrates into the context menu and lets you apply numbering and you can define the step.If that's not enough it even lets you use roman numerals or anything between Base2 and Base 36.
