Yes I would be the quiet different. I could buy it, I had already installed an evaluation Windows 8 ultimate... Really I need days to restore all my professional apparatus. Now it would be easier. If only I could save an image as Win 7 permitted... It's like the pan demic Ebola virus... Created to sell vaccines... so Window 8 is created to sell new programs and apps (especially for Microsoft devices ). And nevertheless we still have millenarian ruins still standing up (read concrete app for tourists... )

What is on your Data (D) Partition ... ?

(D) Data Partition is a logical partition I created to separate my work's data from the OS partitions (C, System and other boots).

Very bad! I tried to install win7 twice but after a good beginning it stopped. I waited only 20 minutes, and tuned the laptop of because the windows on the screen that generally "breath" or "pulse" were still. I could wait a full night. What do you think?

But I thought. I have minitool partition program. It can convert GPT formatting stile to MBR with no loss of data ad partition. The danger is: after the change would my preinstalled windows 8 be able to boot again? The missing or better never existed MBR could be create or repaired? Mmm. Going back to when you first Installed Windows 7 .. Do you know which method you used then ?...

You could not believe... I installed on C: (Toshiba Satellite) the image createt with Window 7 of my C: (HP Pavilion dv6710el). Incredible, but it installed nearly completely functioning except the screen (generic monitor) and a few F keyboard ììfunctions. It was 32 bit, and were installed in CSM mode, of course to have a MBR. It seems so absurd to me that's impossible to install Windows 7 without erase all partitions and data... Stefano
