Resetting IE8 in Windows 64bit

Hi,
I have a problem with IE8 in Windows 7 64bit.
I have to reset internet explorer to all there default settings once a week.
All the main pages load OK, but go on to paypal or my bank and the pages will not load until I do a reset.
Can someone help!

Turn off your firewall and A/V. See if that works.

If that does not work. In an administrator account type cmd in search. In cmd type this.
ipconfig /flushdns

Go to internet options, tools, delete browsing history. Remember any sites that you have in favorites will not be deleted.



Run a virus scan

Morganmad, which IE8 are you using - the 32-bit or the 64-bit?

32 and the 64 bit, it happens in both.

And what add-ons are you manually installing? Since most IE problems are caused by add-ons, I would look there. Certainly, you should keep them to a minimum, especially added Toolbars.
