Restore desktop to alt+tab menu

After installing Game Guard the desktop entry in alt+tab menu desappeared. I have removed GG, but the desktop entry in alt+tab did not come back. How can I restore it?

Are you talking about the switch windows function that the alt-tab keyboard shortcut is not working?

That is quite odd.


Try restarting a few more times, then:

Please Run sfc /scan now using option 2 in this tutorial: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Please post back the results.
Please indicate what message was displayed at the end:

Windows found no integrity violations

OR

Corrupt files were found, and windows was unable to fix them.

OR

Corrupt files were found, and windows successfully repaired them

Atl+tab is working, but there is no "desktop" entry that was there before.

It turns out this is determined by the theme. In Classic theme there is no Desktop entry, in all others there is.
