We had a computer crash due to an issue with Malwarebytes and restored to an older date to get the machine back up and running. As a consequence of restoring to that older date, an additional user account that I"d created on the computer (for my daughter to back up her iphone through itunes), was gone.

Is there anyway to restore a user account without messing with the main administrator account? I don't want to mess with my main account which also is the admin account but would really like to get that user account back if possible.

TIA

Look under C:\Users, everything for that account should still be there.
Rename the folder to something else, then crate the account again and copy what you want from the renamed folder to the new account folder.

Once you have everything, delete the renamed folder.

I don't think you can create the account again with the same name as before if the folder still exists, that's why you need to rename it first.
