Ripping music cd using Media Player

I do not want Win7 Media Player to play a music cd while ripping it.

I had this problem in the days of XP. The solution was simple but I don't remember it.

Does anyone know how to solve my problem?

Hm.. that's stange,but as I know when I was ripping music with WMP,the songs were paused...

Captain noobvious to the rescue .__.

C32C3, check your autoplay options. You shouldn't make WMP automatically play the CD when inserted (or rip it [unless you really want it]) so you should change that to "take no action" maybe; do it manually instead, you know what I mean?
