Hi, when I try to play a game (D.M.C.) it says:

runtime error

Have you checked to see if there are any patches or updates for the game?

If its an older game you can use compatibility mode.

That error means your hardware isn't good enough to run the game.

With an HP Compaq SG3-240es you've only got an integrated AMD 3000 GPU.

The minimum requirements for DmC are an AMD Radeon HD 3850. You'll need better than that if you want to actually run the game at a decent framerate. A 6950 or better is recommended.

Further compounding the issue is the fact that your CPU is the minimum requirement to run DmC. It specifically mentions your exact CPU as the low end that will possibly run the game.

The 'minimum requirments' are never actually enough to really run a game. The game will 'run' but the framerate will be horrible and the settings will all have to be at their absolute lowest settings. Even then, the framerate will be so bad you won't really be able to play the game.

Put simply, you need to either get a new computer, or upgrade your CPU, GPU, and PSU to play DmC on your computer. Your hardware is not good enough to run the game, there is no tweak or trick that's going to make the game run on your system. You need to replace or upgrade your system if you want to play that game on PC.

Sorry, but that's your only option.
