This is new NEWS to the general public but not to those that have done a little research.

I have been accused of wearing a tin foil hat many times.

The new IoT is the next big spy method.

You can bet your pension that many governments around the world do the same things. It's not just the C.I.A. and or N.S.A.

The easy way to keep such organization, no matter what county they are from out of your computer and off of your phone; is to have nothing of interest that they want to monitor.

Some think using a certain browser keep them safe. Bull Bananas.
Browsers like the Onion just draw attentions for good reasons. Smugglers of munition, drugs, and people use these types of browsers. So they are watch. Does anybody really believe that large movements of things like Bitcoins aren't watched?

In my opinion the leaked C.I.A. documents are just what the C.I.A. wanted leaked.
I'm thinking they have bigger and better ways to monitor, what ever they want to. Along with many other countries having such capabilities.

Remember the world of sneaking and dirty tricks has many roads.
The Russians are not dummies. The Russian foot prints left at the D.N.C. email scam (hack) were left there by some one else to make it look like a Russian hacker did the hacking.
On such matters I would suggest looking multi- directional. Things are seldom as they seem.

Yes Jack the android stuff was on TV last night and I am so glad I didn't go iPhone even tough android is not much better.

Along with that article I read the other day re spying by drones with cameras watching the hard drive LED blinking sort of makes security a thing of the past and no matter why we put in place it soon falls in a heap eh?

I agree with you in that many view the Russians as simple minded when in reality they are quite adept at anything and everything. I think of the times that the US has produced say a new fighter aircraft only to find a short time later the Russians have a new fighter aircraft that to all intents and purposes is a copy of the American one. Now that cannot be coincidence or can it:sarc:
