Sager NP5170 / Clevo W170HN BSOD Potentially from Updates?

Hello everyone,

As the title says I have a Sager NP5170 and its been running perfectly; however, every time a particular update occurs it bugs my computer and crashes. Though I cannot for sure say it is in fact an update causing this I can voucher it as evidence of an update. I have owned the laptop for about 1 and a half month now and until last week it kept getting BSOD. I have reinstalled Win 7 Home Premium (via Manufacture Recovery Disk) where it would run fine until an update comes along when shutting down. The following day trying to boot it up, it just fails on me with a BSOD then starts up with Advanced Startup Settings prompting me to go to Safe Mode.

Obviously we cannot determine if it is hardware of software issues so I have included the MiniDump file Here.

Other Notes of Use:
    I have a customized Power Option Setting titled "Desktop Mode"  where the computer does not sleep or turn off when Idle. It does however  turn off the display after 1min. Additionally when running Desktop  Mode, I remove the battery (6-Cell) to prevent from overly charging. So its basically a Desktop when in this mode. I do this mainly to preserve the battery juice for longer lasting when I actually need it when I go back to school campus.

Please help me. This is my first Win7 machine. I have always stuck to XP since I was afraid win7 would be like vista. I recently found out that Win7 is actually 30% faster than XP and it support 64bit which made me switch. I hope I dont regret switching from XP..

I have ran the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 however I cannot seem to get the run>perfom /report to save as the Resource and Performance Monitor says:
Error: An error occurred while attempting to generate the report. The system cannot find the path specified.

But I attached the file nonetheless.

Most update problems are caused by older drivers or malware. Have you updated your drivers and have you scanned for malware?

Only 56 Windows Updates after SP1 - most systems have at least 60-70 (or more). Please check with Windows Update for any available updates.

MSINFO32 shows a problem with these devices:

Security Processor Loader Driver ROOT\LEGACY_SPLDR\0000 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
avast! Network Shield Support ROOT\LEGACY_ASWTDI\0000 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.

Please uninstall and then download/install a fresh copy of Avast.
The presence of the Security Processor Loader driver is usually an indicator of a malware infection (either currently or one that was improperly removed).

The memory dump blames your Intel storage controller driver. Please get an updated version from the Intel Download Center ( http://downloadcenter.intel.com ) and replace the current controller driver(s).

If that doesn't fix it, then try running these free diagnostics:

Well, as for driver update I cant find the correct one. I installed DriverMax and it detected 16 of the 32 drivers outdated, but even that alone cant update the drivers for some odd reason. Maybe since Im in Safe Mode? Not sure..

Also I have scanned and I am virus and Malware free. Scanned with Avast! Free and MalwareMalbytes Anti-Malware.

Additionally I would not recommend the Stress test for CPU and GPU.. more specifically FurMark. That tool is known to destroy gpu from overheating and can cause permanent damage.

Ill pass on that. Any other solution??? I know I could easily just do a System Restore, BUT it would be useless because this problem occures all the time after a fresh install.

Well, Im just lost on the software end. Hardware wise I can handle.

Im trying to perform a System Restore in Safe Mode; however, when I try to it says "No restore points have been created on your computer's system drive." How is this possible? Last time I checked theres a wide variety of restore points.
