Hi!

I'm having some problems with Windows as it keeps installing the same updates over and over. In the update history they are marked as "Successful". I tried to solve the problem by doing what you guys recommended in the "For a Repeatedly Succeeding Update" paragraph here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/186275-windows-update-fix-repeatedly-offered-update.html
I used this command and it did not work: fsutil resource setautoreset true %systemdrive%\

Please tell me what to do! If you need more information please ask.

Thank you!

EDIT: I have added the needed CBS.zip file: View attachment 267003

Sorry about that!

These two updates are fairly common miscreants - the usual solution is to uninstall .NET 4.0 and then either reinstall it, or install .NET 4.5

To uninstall .NET 4, the best option is to use the .NET Cleanup tool... .NET Framework Cleanup Tool User's Guide - Aaron Stebner's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs

This effectively clears the decks completely and your choice can be installed afterwards.

.NET 4.0 - Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Centre (full install)
.NET 4.5 - Download .NET Framework 4.5 from Official Microsoft Download Centre (stub installer)
