Samsung keyboard driver issues?

I have a Samsung NP-R467 laptop (Windows 7 32bit).

when I press the "S" key it outputs "s\"
when I press the "Esc" key it outputs (Esc + F1)

I have tried a USB keyboard, after plugging it in, drivers were installed, computer restarted, and the USB keyboard worked without any problems
I tried the laptop keyboard in BIOS and it seemed to still have the problem
I tried the on-screen key board, no problems
the key board is not dirty
I went to Device Manager > Keyboards > Standard PS/2 KeyboardI uninstalled drivers, restarted, let windows do it's driver thing, restarted again and still had the same problem


Samsung's website doesn't have any keyboard drivers that I could find

If you are saying that problem exist in BIOS, drivers have nothing to do with your problem.

It is a hardware problem and you might need to physically replace keyboard.
Have you ever spilled anything on that keyboard, by the way?

I have discovered that I only need to remove 2 screws to pop out a Samsung keyboard, much less trouble then I thought it would be. I removed the keyboard, it looks clean and no crap fell out of it, I gave it a shake and put it back but it didn't help. The only way I could test the "s" key in bios was setting a password and noticing that the "s" key produced 2 squared while others produced only 1. Does anyone know of a way for me to confirm that this isn't a software problem before I order another keyboard?
