Samsung SCX-3205W printer and WPS

Samsung SCX-3205W printer and WPS.
According to Samsung getting this printer and my system to communicate should be simplicity. Unfortunately the manual and instructions leave much to be desired.
I have an Asus P7H55-M Pro connected to a D-Link DIR-655. I want to install the printer downstairs so the family can have access there throughtheir own wireless.
Pressing the WPS button on the printer and the corresponding button on the wireless router they soon chirp and communicate with the printer's WIFI light turning a solid blue as it should. The next step gettin our computers to communicate with the printer leaves' us in a bind as we are not having any luck with the instructions or previous experience.
Can any one give me some basic steps, directions to get these systems talking to one another?
Any advice would be appreciated.

You may always try a manual configuration. First off, you will need to find out if the computers in your home network can ping the Printer's IP Address. You may locate the IP Address from printer itself by printing the configuration page, find out if the Network Key(very impt.) is also correct from the print out page. If that's a hassle for you, install AdvancedIP Scanner, which will give you all the IP/MAC Addresses of all network devices=> Advanced IP Scanner 1.5 (Free) - Fast and easy-to-use multithreaded IP scanner for Windows which lets you have all of information about network computers in a few seconds.

Open up a command prompt from any computers in your network and type ping + the printers IP address for ex. ping 192.168.1.50 (your IP will be different) then press enter. If you're able to ping the printer, next thing to do is access the printer's IP thru a Web browser => http://192.168.1.50 (an example only) just to make sure that it communicates in your network.

Next thing to do, get the printer's CD and install the printer software/driver from each computer and it should detect the printer's IP Address and should install.

Yes, I know the procedure but would like to get to know this new way of connecting as I firmly believe that we will be seeing more of this type of setup in the near future and I would like to be ready for it..
